How to Select a Car Audio Subwoofer

Usually the very first upgrade anyone considers making to their OEM car sound system is to add a subwoofer. It really isn’t surprising since OEM speakers are simply too small and not of sufficient quality to accurately produce low bass frequencies.  Subwoofers provide the most immediate improvement one can make to a car audio sound system.  Consequently one of the most frequently asked questions is: “How do I select a subwoofer?”

Actually, your selection will depend on several factors such as your personal preferences in music, your budget and available space in your vehicle. The amount of space you have to dedicate to your subwoofer’s enclosure should be the first thing you consider. In the majority of cases, this decision narrows the field very quickly. But what if space is no problem?

Subwoofers range in size from 6” to 18” in diameter. Most are round in shape but in recent years the new square shapes are becoming more and more popular. Materials used in the speaker cones can be made of treated paper, light metals such as aluminum and even various types of composites. Paper cone subwoofers tend to sound the most natural and true to life but paper is the least durable. Aluminum Cone woofers were one of the best materials to use for quick, tight bass response (sound quality applications-SQ) because they produced very low frequencies in small sealed boxes. There are some very good musical subwoofers today that offer excellent sound quality while also presenting exceptional SPL (Sound Pressure Level – An acoustic measurement of sound energy, typically expressed in dB-SPL).

I could go on but if you are considering buying a subwoofer for your vehicle, I strongly suggest you click thru and pick up some tips to make decision making a bit easier.

Just How Bad Did Home Building Decline

The construction industry took a beating due to the financial crisis. Just how bad did home building decline? It depends where you look but overall, the numbers are very frightening. In a report released recently, new order for homes built in the third quarter of 2008 was down 25% compared to last year. In numbers, that is 2,002 homes for this year compared to 2,660 homes in 2007.

Because of what is happening in the economy, there was increase in the number of cancellations from 24% last year to 27% this year. While real estate companies tried to curb the trend by offering it to other potential buyers, the market wasn’t biting which is why there were a lot of homes that were never sold. In terms of home building revenues, that roughly translates to $928 million. If you think that is still good, look back at the sales performance last year and you will see that it was lower by 27%. These figures go on and on and they are really depressing.

So are companies making money? No and the worse part is that construction companies have to layoff hundreds or even thousands of workers in order to stay afloat. If you wanted to build a home, the only way you can do that is if you have extra money flowing around right now because most banks will not able to loan that amount to you right now.

At this rate, the construction industry will only be able to produce 817,000 new homes this year compared to 1.98 million units in 2006. That is a lot and it is note expected to improve any time soon. But are these numbers surprising? The answer is also no because it is the right reaction especially when the country is in a financial crisis. Analysts believe this will change in the next 2 to 3 years because within this time frame, homes that were unoccupied will now have people living in them and only then will home building be once again on the upward trend.

What everyone is hoping for right now is a miracle because we are not yet out of the woods when we talk about the current financial crisis. Yes, a $700 billion bailout plan was approved and signed into law but just like Bernanke said, no one expects the recession to end overnight. It is going to take time. Is the home building decline also happening elsewhere? In the case of Canada, the answer is no. In fact, the opposite is happening. If you were to compare the number of houses built for the month ending September this year versus last year, 6,000 more homes were built in 2008 compared to 2007.

There are many reasons for this such like more people want to settle down so they move away from the rest of their family and most importantly the program they have in place happens to be much better across the border compared to what is available in the US. But back to reality, no one can deny that over here, there is a sharp decline in home building. The only thing anyone can do is hope for the best in the months and years ahead so we can perhaps forget that this ever happened.

Using Credit Cards

Almost everywhere we turn we see advertisements for us to get hold of another credit card so we can spend and get those things that we love. Whether it be for house improvements, buying that longed for car or simply to take that dream vacation, we can all take advantage of the extra funds that using a credit card brings to us. We can also use the facilties for debt consolidation and the main thing that we should do is to use them wisely and with that in mind, we can achieve our dreams and at the same time achieve that what we want in life.

The smart business people look to take advantage of the many credit card offers that are made by the major credit card companies and banks as they look to make the next business deal. Using credit cards is a great way to generate quick extra income as in business time is often the major factor between success and failure and making the difference. If you want to take advantage of the lastest business deal, look to use your credit card to launch your business forward.

Your credit card interests can be negotiated or arranged and the best institution to do that is through the help of non profit debt consolidation companies who include credit card debt management in their services. They can negotiate your creditor to minimize the interest rate that you may take and reduce your monthly spending.. Though credit card companies are usually imposing high interest rates in their clients, they are also considering on the impact that decision can bring. So, they will be always willing to go for negotiation form a non profit credit card consolidating companies to establish the best option.

Saturn by Alan J Stutts

Hello, my name is Alan Stutts, I have studied planet Saturn for many years. Here is what I would like to share with you.

The dominant gas in Saturn’s atmosphere is hydrogen, but small amounts of helium and methane are also present. If we were to think about the possibility of life developing on this planet similarly to Earth’s life conditions, we have to admit that it is very unlikely. Saturn has a lower density than water; thus, were there a lake or ocean, Saturn would be floating in it. The possibility to sustain life has not been excluded in reference to Saturn’s satellites, though, but studies are in progress, and until we have more conclusive data, all remains pure speculation.

The globe explanation given by Galileo started from a confusion he didn’t know how to explain. He was the person who discovered Saturn, but at the same time he thought there were three planets, not one. The mystery of the rings was clarified in 1655 when Christiaan Huygens realized that what Galileo called globes were actually rings, but their structure became apparent twenty years later with the discovery made by Giovanni Domenico Cassini. He was the one to launch the theory that Saturn’s rings were broken or discontinuous, consisting of small individual parts.

Presently we know that the rings consist of ice, rocks and other interplanetary debris, which only proves that the early theories were right. Who discovered Saturn then? A fair conclusion is that this part of our solar system gradually revealed itself to our eyes, but the discovery is not by far complete. Every year seems to bring something new for us to discover: thus, more than forty of Saturn’s moons have become known, some of them with potential conditions to sustain life. Thus the question is not about who discovered Saturn, but what is there more to discover?

Looking Good in Difficult Times, Skin and Eye Creams

Whoever said that looking good has to be expensive? The best thing about eye creams is that you can get some of the best, without spending your grocery money.

When you scan search results for eye creams, you can see wrinkle creams that range from 20 dollars to more than a hundred. Does this mean, if you buy an eye cream worth 30 dollars, it will work only half as good as a cream worth 60 dollars? Not necessarily. In the world of fashion and eye creams, expensive doesn’t necessarily equate to effective. You could buy the best eye cream for half as much as the expensive eye cream your friend uses.

Looking good and finding the ideal eye cream for you in these trying times is not as difficult and expensive as you think. All you need is to know your skin, and know what cream works for you. Once you have that equation, all that is required is a little patience matched with research.

Know what your problems are and get an eye cream that would best target those areas. This way, you are able to maximize every penny spent on your skin. After all, what you are looking for are results, the more evident the results, the better the eye cream works for you.

During these trying times, you don’t need to cut-back on looking good. What you need to do is make sure that your well-earned money gives you sure results, and that cosmetic product you are using is the best eye cream available.

Hawaii Vacation Rentals – A Cheap And Beautiful Vacation

Hawaii vacation rentals are one path to a cheap Hawaii vacation. Hawaii’s vacation homes and condos are often available for less money than a stay in a similar quality hotel would cost. However, they will still allow you to experience and enjoy Hawaii’s beautiful beaches.

Many people have not heard about vacation rentals in Hawaii. But this provides the obvious benefit that these rentals are always available. Since there are plenty of rentals available all through the year, you don’t have to worry about fighting over hotel rooms. Although not many people know about Hawaii vacation rentals yet, those who do come frequently to enjoy this beautiful state.

Maui vacation rentals are some of the most popular rentals in Hawaii. The area around Maui is beautiful and there are many different locations to visit for people that are new to Hawaii vacations and even the people that go every year. Hawaii offers some of the best vacation spots in the entire United States.

In most cases you can actually find rentals that will provide you with everything that you need. That means your linen, silverware, televisions, stereos and everything that you could ever need. They are all taken care of by the rental facility. It provides that home away from home feel along with the hotel hospitality that you are used to.

When looking at rentals, consider the different types of accommodations you can get. In addition to vacation rentals, timeshare rentals are available. Vacation rentals are, obviously, the simpler type of rentals. Many people will find that timeshare rentals are cheaper for them in the long run, but they are a little harder to understand.

A vacation rental means that you will rent a place in Hawaii for a certain time. A timeshare is different in that you will sign a contract to purchase a place for a segment of each year, for a specific number of years. For instance, a timeshare in Hawaii might be available for 2 weeks a year, for 30 years. Timeshares save you money, in the long run, because you are purchasing the property, along with a group of others, and splitting the costs among you.

Infinity 800 System Review

Even though the Infinity 800 system is fairly new, it is generating a great deal of attention all across the internet.  As you may be aware, this program makes use of network marketing to help participants build a residual income.  That said, unlike other programs, you must rebuild your base each time a certain number of people join your network. Because the system remains in a 2 x 2 matrix, you will always have a fresh opportunity to make large amounts of money on a small number of recruits.

If you are interested in taking advantage of all that Infinity 800 has to offer, you will first need to buy into the program. While the initial cost is a bit prohibitive, you can make your money back in a very short period of time.  Among other things, this system is new enough and popular enough to be drawing an optimal amount of attention.  At the same time, the self-renewing matrix makes it very easy for you to continue making a good bit of  money as the network grows.

As with any other networking program, you will need to find ways to attract people to sign up.  Chances are, if you do a web search on Infinity 800, you will immediately notice that there are thousands of untapped resources.  Among other things, you can create videos, forums, and many other kinds of promotional materials.  Being the first person to make use of these online marketing tools will be of immense benefit.  You may even want to see if you can use some of the suggestions provided with your membership to the program to create new opportunities.

Today, some individuals feel that the the Infinity 800 system provides more of a profit for the owner of the program than it does for people that are cycling through the matrix.  That said, if you are looking to double your initial investment in a short period of time, few other programs give you as much of a reward for a small amount of work.  In most cases, once you discover how to put the power of this system to work, you should be able to derive a steady and reasonable income from it.

Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session Module 4 – Take Aways

Hi Friends!

Another Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session ticked off the list!

I’m at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf while I’m writing this. It’s a Saturday for me. I was working two jobs the whole month: my day job and my alter ego as a web marketer. After yesterday’s 6-hour coaching session, and working like a beheaded chicken at work,

I crashed and slept like a log for more than 12 hours straight.
Now, the afternoon sun is bright and sunny, and there’s a noisy crowd in the shop at Island Plaza.  Most of them look like Fitness First people and they are talking up a storm.

I just walked in with camo shorts, a Bruce Lee (hoo-watta!! weave in weave out, hoo…) t-shirt and a Lenovo netbook in tow. I was dead set in making a blog or two by today! So here we go…

My Take-Aways

I want to start with the take-aways because this feels like a longish blog for me. So to give my readers instant gratification, I’ll put the take-aways ahead of the rest. :D

1.    I’m going to win the contest, Alex! Alex Jeffreys is a smart coach, in his efforts to keep us on our toes and make us take action, he’s given us something big to shoot for. In a nutshell, the most eyeballs who look at our blogs will get a nice prize.

2.    And I’m going to help people AND Win! Yes, readers, you heard it right. I’m going to help others and still win. I believe that the way the universe works, you help people with a full heart, you’ll get a lot of love in return, including getting what you want.

3.    I’m going to step out of my comfort zone and do some videos and slides. Writing’s no problem to me, but videos and youtube stuff is a whole different territory for me. Nevertheless, I’m going to to do it!

4.    I’m going to follow my plan. Yes, like most humans, sometimes I still slack off. But for me to win the contest, I’ll follow my quantified daily and weekly plans to the letter.
It sound sooo simple, but believe me, its going to be a fun ride. :D

The Coaching

The last Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session was held at about the same time as the last one. 7am Malaysia, 11pm UK, 6pm Eastern Standard, 10am Australia.
As such, I wish I can see how many people are in the class and if I could get my hands on a list of my classmates. I really want to get together and have a great time with these 500-odd people.

The Fortunate 500. Sounds like King Leonidas’ 300 at Thermopylae. :D   Unlike them, we’ll survive. And like them we’ll turn into Legends.

The 4th Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session Module was about Social Media Money. And the name is quite appropriate.

Alex has an interesting theory about blogs. And he relates this to ocean fishing.
I ask you, where the best place to catch a large school of fish? Where when there’s a vast ocean, can you 100% of the time find enough fish to fill your nets? The answer may surprise you: near or under oil rigs.

The Oil Rig Scenario

When an oil rig is set up, its pylons become occupied by the denizens of the seas. Algae starts growing on the pylons, attracting mollusks to grow on the pylons as well, attracting fish, which attracts even more fish to the oil rig.
Soon enough you got yourself a full-fledged ecosystem running under your oil rig. Left alone for years, it become a long-term fixture in the open seas.

Relate this to blogging. Your blog is the oil rig.
When you create blog articles (algae), you create food for the people make comments on (clams), which attracts web surfers looking for information(fish), to write more comments on your articles (clams) if it is really really good, attracting even more fish (web surfers) to the site….

To find out more about Oil Rig Hopping and the Oil Rig Rules, click here.

Soon enough you get referred, tagged, bookmarked and copied, and you’re famous. You’ll be viewed as an expert anda really cool dude to hang around with. A simple strategy which requires patience, honesty, cooperation, and a little bit of hard work on the outset.

The lecture took 2 hours and the rest was the time Alex fielded questions from EVERYBODY who had a question in the call. He absolutely (again) didn’t stop until we had no more questions to ask (and we did ask a ton of questions).

By the time it was over, it was 1pm Malaysia, 5am UK, 12mn Eastern Standard, 4pm Australia.

It was long, and I lost sleep over it, but well worth the time and effort we put in. My classmates are absolutely worth helping out! You can never find another nice bunch of people. :)

If you are interested in having a mentorship with Alex Jeffreys, his Coaching Sessions are full and closed for the moment. His next classes will be announced so please regularly check here.

So Why Alex Jeffreys?

Funny to put him last on the blog, but Alex will understand. He would say the message is more important.

Here’s what I like about Alex Jeffreys.

For some reason, Alex Jeffreys does not claim to be a guru. Actually he prefers to say that he’s only a little bit ahead of us. He’s not shy to say that he’s still on a steep learning curve to the top.

So why did we plunk some hard-earned cash to get what he knows? Well, he’s made six-figure incomes, and was mentored by the likes of Mike Filsaime, Michael Cheney, Tim Knox, and Rich Schefren so you can see why he’s such a phenomenon in internet marketing.

But it’s not just that. Alex Jeffreys has some heart. He was generous with his information (FREE), the information made sense (VALUE) and he had a good message (OFFER) in his video presentation.

His offer to help didn’t sound bogus and he takes the time to interact with us. Not to mention him sustaining 6+ hours of  support calls past 11pm in the UK, that’s unheard of.

You can get his latest report about List Building here.

So I would say, after experiencing some gurus myself, that you wouldn’t go wrong being mentored by Mr. Alex Jeffreys.

Stay tuned! More blogs to come! :)
