Ardell Double Up Individual Eyelashes Knot Free Naturals Short Black (12 Pack)
I used to be totally terrified when I would here someone say “individual eyelashes”. To me back then, I seemed like such a waste. Like, why not just wear regular strip false eyelashes? Well, about a year ago a chunk of the natural eyelashes fell out. I don’t know how! But I was devastated. And I realized, now is the time to face my fear of individual false eyelashes, because I don’t like wearing full eyelash strips every single day.
I went out and bought some, tried it out and after several times of struggling to put them on, I finally got it. And these are the ones I got! The Ardell Double Up individual eyelashes are my favorite by far! They are knot free, meaning they don’t have the uncomfortable little ball at the end of the lash to hold the hairs together, nobody wants that. And they can be really dramatic because they’re basically two pairs of individual eyelashes in one or subtle by just placing a few on the outer corner of the eye. Check out the details and how I love to apply these below!

Ardell Double Up Individual Eyelashes Knot Free Naturals Application
STEP 1- I make sure my eye makeup is completely done before I start. It can be kind of difficult to go in with eyeshadow and eyeliner with the lashes on. I usually start with one coat of mascara so the the individual lashes blend with the fake ones better.
STEP 2- I put a small dot of glue on the back of the disposable package. I used to put it on the back of my hand but trying to pick that off after it dries is more painful then it sounds! Don’t do that, friends.
STEP 3- I cannot apply these without tweezers. If you can put these on with your hands alone, I am very impressed. With tweezers, I pick up one individual eyelash, dip the base of the lash in a small amount of glue and wait for it to get tacky. Eyelashes can be really hard to apply when you have super wet glue.
STEP 4- Once it’s tacky, place it as close as you can to your natural lash line. Then once they’re all on there, wait for them to completely dry and you’re done!
Ardell Double Up Individual Eyelashes Knot Free Naturals Comparison
Ardell has a couple different kinds of individual eyelashes. I tried the individual “naturals” and I didn’t like them as much as the double up ones. They are knot free as well which is great but they only have a few hairs in each cluster of lashes which makes them a lot more natural. For me, these took about 2x as long to apply than the double up ones. Which I just don’t always have the time for that. Unless you just like super natural, thin eyelashes, I would go with the double up ones 10/10 times! So check them out!
